The future for Hook Norton Brewery
At Hook Norton our commitment is to maintaining our position as one of the country’s leading independent family brewers - a commitment that we do not take lightly.
Over recent years we have been working hard to create strength in depth in our management team so that we can deliver against our objectives for the future.
Part of that process has also involved a review of our product portfolio to create a range of beers for the drinkers of today. Click here to see the full range of Hooky Beers.
Growing beer sales
Growing our beer sales will continue to be a core part of our activity here at the brewery – increasing sales through our Tied Estate, through the Free Trade and of course through sales of our bottled beers.
Development of the pub estate
We are continually looking to develop our pub estate and are working on constantly improving the pubs that we do have. With over 40 pubs in our estate this entails an ongoing programme of refurbishment and redecoration, working closely with our tenants to create great drink and food venues of which our local communities can be proud.
Repairs and maintenance of the brewery
The maintenance of buildings of this nature is a huge task and one that is never-ending. We always try to restore parts of the building as faithfully as we can to their original state because we understand that our heritage is a vital part of what we, as a brewery, are about.
Redevelopment of the Visitor Centre
Over the longer term, we will be looking to redevelop the Visitor Centre and make it even more appealing to a broader audience. It is already used, not only by the 10,000 visitors who come through our doors, but also by many local businesses, societies and local groups and we are keen to provide a contemporary and inviting facility for them to continue using.
Commitment to the Environment
In a building such as ours, ensuring that we are as environmentally conscious as possible is also vital. Ensuring that our brewing processes are as green as possible is vital to us and we are constantly looking at ways to improve our systems and processes to achieve that.
