The British Institute of Innkeeping (BII), the professional body for the licensed retail sector and the industry's leading membership organisation has honoured Hook Norton Visitor Centre manager Richard Hughes by making him a Fellow of the organisation.
Fellow grade is the highest grade of BII membership which is reached through qualifications and experience according to the BII's eligibility criteria.
"Reaching Fellow status is an outstanding achievement and recognises established professionals within the BII's membership," said a spokeswoman for the BII.
Hook Norton Managing Director James Clark said: "Richard should be congratulated for his work at the Visitor Centre. He works tirelessly to raise standards. "His regular and imaginative programme of tastings at the Visitor Centre, which matches interesting foods with our award winning beers are extremely popular." In 2009, Hook Norton Managing Director James Clarke was also honoured with a Fellowship by the BII.
