Lovingly known as Puddingface, the Pie Place to locals, the Crown and Tuns in Deddington has doubled its trading space, enhancing its outdoor area and creating an attractive multi-level garden with extensive decking and lighting. ‘The garden’s opening was marked with an official ceremony yesterday, Tuesday 3rd July, that saw James Clarke, Hook Norton Brewery’s Managing Director (Brewing) unveil a plaque dedicated to the late David Clarke, former Managing Director.

Brewery celebrates Paul Worth's 10th Anniversary as CAMRA Brewery Liaison Office
Hook Norton celebrated last month the 10th Anniversary of their Brewery Liaison Officer Paul Worth. Staff members and North Oxon CAMRA members gathered at the Brewery’s Visitor Centre where Joint Managing Director, James Clarke, presented Paul with a framed photograph of the Brewery – one of the hundreds which he himself had taken. Paul wrote of the evening ‘it was brilliant and I feel very privileged and honoured to have the post of BLO to your brewery. I am still overwhelmed by the evening’.
