Hooky Beer + Muffin = Hooky Buffin!
The Blakesley Hill Cake Company has teamed up with The Hook Norton Brewery to develop a range of delicious beer flavoured savoury and sweet muffins for the Bite2014 Artisan Food Market at the Chipping Norton Literary festival this weekend!
Hooky's MD on Running the London Marathon
It has certainly been a journey. On January 13th, I received an e-mail informing me I had a place to run the London Marathon, for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research. Many of you will know that this has been the key charity that the Brewery and the wider Hook Norton community have supported for 30 years. My late sister Victoria was diagnosed with Leukaemia in 1984, at the tender age of 10.

At Hooky Brewery, we are proud of the fact that our beer is exported both around Europe and the rest of the world. Sometimes we get feedback from consumers in these countries that they enjoy our product, however when we get someone who is as passionate about our beer as Mark Thomas from Brisbane in Queensland, Australia, we think he deserves a big mention!
Hooky Credit Controller completes British Heart Foundation Half Marathon!
On Sunday 23rd March, Claire Moules, the Credit Controller at the Brewery ran the Warwick Half Marathon! Claire finished in speedy 1 hour 57 minutes and raised money for https://www.bhf.org.uk

Retired Financial Controller from Hooky Keeps in Touch with the Brewery
In September 2013, Financial Controller Ian Rae retired from his position at Hook Norton Brewery. After his five years of service, Ian looked forward to making trips and spending even more time than ever with his family after becoming a granddad for the fourth time to baby Alex. However, Ian still finds the time to keep in touch with his friends from the Brewery.
Hooky Brewery Welcomes The Baton
Hook Norton Brewery welcomed the Baton military charity on 10 March. The charity exists to raise awareness and support for serving personnel past, present and their families. It has as its symbol the handle of a Medical Emergency Response Team stretcher used in Afghanistan to evacuate casualties from combat. The charity’s founder, Alan Rowe, and Baton trustee Suzanne Dando, the television presenter and celebrated former Olympian gymnast, visited the brewery to thank it for its support.
Hook Norton Brewery receives formal accreditation from the British Institute of Innkeeping
Hook Norton Brewery is delighted to announce that the latest edition of its Code Of Practice, which sets out the framework for the relationship between the Brewery and its pub tenants, has received its formal accreditation from the British Institute of Innkeeping (BII).
Local MP Visits Hook Norton Pub To Discuss Industry Challenges
The Queen’s Head, a Hook Norton pub in Sedgeberrow, Worcestershire, has been visited by West Worcestershire MP Harriett Baldwin for a discussion about the challenges facing the pub industry.

New Tenancy Available - The Bell Inn, Adderbury
Hook Norton are pleased to offer the tenancy of The Bell Public House, High Street, Adderbury. The village of Adderbury occupies a location approximately 3 miles south of Banbury on the A4260 Oxford Road. The village itself is a quintessential English Village, many of the buildings are constructed from local stone, and The Bell sits in the heart of the village approximately 100 meters from the Village Church.

On Sunday 13th April 2014, James Clarke, the Managing Director of Brewing at Hook Norton Brewery will be running the London Marathon for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. James discovered that he had a place on 13th January 2014 and is now busy training in preparation for the big race!
