Hook Norton is novelist Henry Shukman’s favourite brewery.

He says Hooky Bitter and Old Hooky, both have that magical hazel clarity, a dark gold colour, that is the very hallmark of the English countryside, and both have the same marvellous taste that he never seems to find in any other beer.
