Hooky Ale Trail pioneers honoured

Glasses were raised for Hooky Ale Trail pioneers Jim Sargeant and Jonathan Thompson, as they have already visited every Hook Norton pub.
The pair were guests of honour at the launch of the Hooky Ale Trail held in the Reindeer pub in Banbury.

Jim and John, who had never met before, had each, independently visited all the pubs in the Hook Norton estate.
“It took time and energy, but it was worth it,” said Jonathan.

Hook Norton Ale Trail leaflet details six routes across Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire, with each taking in some of the company’s 47 pubs.

The Hooky Ale Trail is a simple scheme and customers should enjoy the challenge of trying to finish each of the six routes.
