Be the first to try Hooky’s new beer Summer Haze
The Campaign for Real and Ale (CAMRA) and Hook Norton are offering some lucky people the chance to try its brand new beer Summer Haze - before it hits the pubs.
But you have to be a member of CAMRA and have joined the CAMRA Hook Norton Complimentary Club to have a chance of previewing the beer – Summer Haze.
Summer Haze, at 4.5% ABV is the first wheat beer from Hook Norton. A common style in Belgium and Germany, where they are often known as white beers, the protein in the wheat can cause a slight haze in the beer.
Light, fruity and refreshing it is an ideal drink for a summer’s day.
The special event will take place on Saturday 25th July, at the Hook Norton Brewery – but you will have to let CAMRA know if you want to come.
CAMRA members will enjoy a fascinating talk on how Hooky beers are brewed by managing director James Clarke, as well beer tastings of the Hook Norton range.
There will also be refreshments available throughout the course of the day with complimentary food matching for the tastings.
A lucky 30 Complimentary Club Members will also get the chance to take a tour of the historic Hook Norton Brewery, where Hooky beers have been brewed since 1872.
