Badminton Horse Trials is one of the toughest and most exciting equestrian events and is the pinnacle of the world's 3-Day-Event Calendar. Drawing in both competitors and spectators from across the world.
The damp conditions certainly did not seem to have deterred the crowds. There were already queues forming as early as 7.45am to get into the car parks.
Refreshment was on hand at the Royal Agricultural College stand, sponsored by Hook Norton Brewery where a selection of beers were being sampled at the Alumni party.
Matt Howath an ex Ciren student enjoys some Old Hooky which he professed was fast becoming his favorite tipple.
The party provided the perfect opportunity for potential consumers to be introduced to the range of Hook Norton’s hand crafted ales, and for them to discover the many different tastes associated with real ales.
The atmosphere was warm and friendly and one of the highlights of the day was the amount of women interested in trying the Hooky Gold, a pale crisp beer with a fruity aroma and a pleasant light taste. A perfect beer for those new to the world of beer.
The event proved highly successful and the feedback suggesting many lager consumers had been impressed by the presentation and quality of the beers. If you would like to know more about Hook Norton Brewery or the Dray Horses visit our Dray horses page or call us on 01608 737210.
