Old Hooky’s a long way from home

One of Scotland’s best pubs, The Masonic Arms, Gatehouse of Fleet, Dumfries, is stocking our Old Hooky throughout April and May – and it more than 317 miles away from the Brewery! And if you can find a pub selling Hooky beers even further away from the Brewery you could win one of our brand new 303AD pin badge.

The multi-award winning pub, which is one of only 15 gastropubs in Scotland and the only one in Dumfries and Galloway to feature in the new Egon Ronay Guide to Restaurants and Gastropubs 2006, is stocking our own award winning beer. Last year CAMRA members for the South of Scotland voted The Masonic its 2005 Pub of the Year.

The food at The Masonic is modern Scottish with an Asian twist - offering the very best of local eating including Galloway beef and loch scallops. There is a choice of three distinctive eating areas, the solid Gaelic charm of the beamed bar, a contemporary restaurant with high-backed leather chairs and a Mediterranean-style Conservatory.

From the Hook Norton Brewery to The Masonic Arms is 318.7 miles. Can you find a pub selling Hook Norton that is even further away? A free 303AD pin badge to anyone sending us proof of our beer being sold further away. Offer ends 31 May 2006.
