Why not try something on the dark side..............
Hook Norton Brewery announces the return to pubs of its seasonal favourite Double Stout.
The 4.8 percent ABV beer is a smooth, full-bodied stout with a refreshing hoppy aftertaste, brewed with proportions of Black Malt for colour and toast flavour and Brown Malt for dryness.
Hook Norton Brewery Managing Director James Clarke said “Brewed to a recipe that is a hundred years old, it is said to have turned even lager drinkers to the true delights of a craft brewed real ale. Double Stout is brewed with a blend of dark malts giving it a character all of it’s own. The black malt enriches the colour and teases the palate, the brown malt gives it a crisp satisfying lingering dryness, and together they make a beer that is good, right to the bottom of the glass.”
The beer is available on draught during January, February and March and all year bottled.
