Hook Norton launches Haymaker – a beer for the summer. So If you want to be cool this summer try a glass of Haymaker, it’s a great British beer.

Hook Norton Haymaker will be on sale on draught in pubs throughout July and August. Haymaker, at 5 per cent ABV, is a clear, golden, summer ale, with a refreshing aroma and taste.

Brewed from a blend of Maris Otter Pale Ale and Cara pils malts and a mix of Fuggles, Goldings and Challenger hops, you can scent the summer’s corn on the nose. Hook Norton managing Director James Clarke says Haymaker tastes like sunshine dancing on the tongue.

“When poured it has a tantalising effervescence and a wonderful taste. “The quality and depth of its taste made it an ideal accompaniment to food,” he said.
