Museum Open Day - Saturday 12th June 10am - 4pm
Hook Norton Brewery - Museum Open Day – Saturday the 12th of July, 10am -4pm
Come and meet our volunteers, guides and staff in the Brewery’s Visitor Centre in a day of activities to showcase the work of the volunteers in the Brewery and Village Museums.
In the museums on the first floor we will have family activities based on the historic brewery buildings, and experts on hand to talk to you about brewing history.
In the Visitor Centre reception and shop we will be talking to visitors about memories of the Brewery and Village. We welcome your reminiscences and are interested in meeting people who want to record their memories in more detail at a later date. There will also be an opportunity to find out more about volunteering in the museums.
Short tours of the Brewery will be available and visitors will be able to see the Victorian steam engine, installed in 1899, which powers some of the machinery on site . You can meet the Brewery’s team of Shire horses, and the shop and coffee shop will be open as usual.
