Puddingface, The Pie Place unveils new garden
Famous for its homemade pies, The Crown and Tuns is committed to a philosophy of market fresh, local produce. With a menu that changes daily, customers can choose from a wide variety of pie fillings including Minted Lamb and Parsnip, Pork, Sage and Apple Cider, Venison, Gin and Juniper, and the popular Hook Norton Ale pie.
As a joint venture between Hook Norton and the proprietors, Anton and Kathy Hayter have led the way in creating an individual and stylish garden, sourcing furniture and quirky features to make the garden their own. Anton commented: “We’re really proud of the area we’ve created. It makes the most of the space that we have and really improves the customer experience.”
Operations Manager at Hook Norton Brewery, Bruce Benyon comments: “It’s no longer enough for a pub to have just a few benches and umbrellas. Customers want more and Hook Norton is committed to improving the experience it offers. The work has really enhanced the space at the Crown and Tuns, providing locals with something special, something safe and something completely private.”
