Shire Horses the star turn at Blakesley Show

Having run for over 100 years, the event is a traditional rural show that attracts over 4,000 people every year, thanks in no small part to its display of working vintage machinery and motorcycle stunt show.

The Hook Norton shire horses were one of the show’s star attractions, posing for pictures with visitors and leading the event’s Grand Parade in the main arena.

“The Blakesley Show is a key event in Northamptonshire, and only 45 minutes away from our brewery,” commented Adrian Staley, Managing Director (Commercial), Hook Norton. “With this in mind, it was with great pride that Hook Norton’s shire horses led the Grand Parade of such a well-respected event.”
