The Castle Edgehill - Exciting Times at Hooky's Warwickshire Flagship

THE CASTLE EDGEHILL - EXCITING TIMES AT HOOKY'S ICONIC WARWICKSHIRE FLAGSHIP

Times are changing at one of Hooky Brewery’s most fascinating pubs. The Castle at Edgehill is currently undergoing a major refurbishment.

One of the (if not the) most iconic pub buildings in England, the Castle, is located at the top of the hill overlooking the Site of the battle of Edgehill, the first major battle of the English Civil War.

Having closed in the first week in January, the pub is now nearly half way through its refurbishment which when completed will allow customers stunning views over the battlefield and on a clear day they may be able to see as far as Leamington and Warwick.

Our contractors are putting the hours ready to get the pub open in time for the key date of Mothers’ Day at the end of March

The new tenants at the Castle Mark Higgs and Claire Cooper are no strangers to Hooky either. Previously, Mark ran The Carpenters Arms at Boddington and more recently catered for the annual tenant’s lunch last year which was acknowledged as a roaring success.

When finished, the Castle will be a great flagship for the Brewery Beer Brands, cheers!
