About

Pride of Hooky Awards 2013
Winner - Pub Team Member of the Year

Established hosts Mel and Sarah offer you a warm welome to this traditional English country pub and restaurant situated in the Cherwell Valley. The bar is intimate and cost with a real fire in winter and a pretty terrace for eating and drinking in the warmer weather.

The menu boasts many pub classics which are all prepared in-house, complemented by the specials board on which you may find fresh fish of the day, steaks, pies and roasts. The restaurant is a new addition to the main building and is ideal for family get-togethers and celebrations as well as quiet, candlelit dinners for two. There are three real ales always available and a choice of around ten quality wines by the glass. Click here for our Special Offers.

The locals are friendly and do welcome well behaved children. Cyclists, ramblers (there are many fantastic walks in the area) and dogs are all welcome at this most agreeable hostelry.
