We have a brewery within a brewery. Our pilot plant is where our brewers get to experiment and get all crafty. Here are just a few of the crafty ales we’ve produced so far.
Watch this space for more Crafty Ales….coming your way.
The spiced rum flavours of this strong, dark, silent type will caress your taste buds. When it’s dark outside, make sure to ask for the Light Out.
No longer just the preserve of our magnificent shires, our oats are combined with roast malt and notes of plum fruit for a dark, rich, full flavoured ale. It would go against the grain not to try it!
A light, bright, fruity beer. Worldly-wise and sunshiny by nature, just like the bar staff that brewed it! It’s pure gold.
When the sun is above the Yard Arm, stand easy and enjoy citrus notes and subtle bitterness
Under pressure from the 25 Barons, King John signed the Magna Carta. But we’ve taken no liberties with your taste buds. Perchance this hopeless, true English ale will take you back to times medieval when beer was malty, smooth and rich.
Brewed for the first time 18 years ago to celebrate his birth, George’s Generation will have aged as well as its namesake. This bright, unassuming and welll-mannered beer has an athletic hoppy profile and an attractive amber colouring.
There’s no ducking the issue – this is a quackingly good pint, it’s just a question of whether you want a Half ORR Pint.
After thirty years at the Farmer’s Arms we though Julie should have a giggle brewing her own beer. Made with fuggles and jester hops grown near the pub this rib tickling ale is no joke.
Light and refreshing, brewed with English hops, this beer creates a festival of flavour on the tongue.
Our latest beer is doing a fly by. This black as the bird beer with blackcurrant notes will gently ruffle your feathers.
A tasty, fruity and well-rounded tribute to ‘Old Hooky’. Wellington was known to his soldiers as ‘Old Hooky’ because he had an extremely big nose. Just like our beer.

Brewed with Maris Otter Pale Ale Malt, and a handful of Enzymic and Lager Malt.
A fruity blend of five malts and four hops delivering a refreshing fruitiness
Red in colour and so beautifully fruity by nature, you’d be forgiven for thinking this is one of your five a day. It’s not…..but it should be!
