Rare vineyards is a hugely popular range of wines for us as it offers a point of difference, planting grape varieties which are traditionally grown in other regions in France in the Languedoc Roussillon region instead.
These Pinot Noir grapes come from vineyards located in the south-west of Languedoc Roussillon, close to the Pyrénées Mountains with about 30% of the blend being aged in French oak. The smooth, velvety palate shows cherry and blueberry flavours backed with a hint of oak spice. Very light and perfectly matched to white meat and fish. Fantastic if you want red wine with your roast chicken!
