Hook Norton Brewery Bids Farewell To Long-Serving Tour Guide

Tour Guide Malcolm
Hook Norton Brewery is announcing the retirement of its dedicated brewery tour guide, Malcolm, who is stepping down after 19 years of service. Malcolm, a familiar face to thousands of visitors, will be hanging up his lanyard and high-vis vest to enjoy a well-deserved retirement.
When Malcolm first joined the team, Hook Norton Brewery’s tour operation was in its early stages. At the time, the brewery had only four guides, and popular visitor spots like the Malthouse Kitchen and the Steep Conference Room were still on the drawing board. From day one, Malcolm and his fellow guides were instrumental in establishing Hook Norton as a top tourist destination in its own right.

Good Health, Malcolm!
Over nearly two decades, Malcolm has shared the brewery’s rich history and unique character with countless visitors, helping to put Hook Norton on the map. His passion and commitment have been a key part of the brewery’s success.
“Everyone at Hook Norton Brewery wishes Malcolm all the best in his retirement,” said a brewery spokesperson. “He has been an invaluable part of our team, and his contributions have made a lasting impact on our visitors. We hope he’ll be popping in for a pint soon!”
The brewery encourages the public to continue to visit and experience the tours that Malcolm helped build
