SALE OF ALCOHOL

Under the Licensing Act 2003, it is an offence to purchase or attempt to purchase, alcoholic liquor if you are under the age of 18. Hook Norton is committed to upholding both their legal and social obligations as a retailer of intoxicating liquor. In accepting our Terms and Conditions, you agree to act in accordance with the Licensing Act of 2003. You must, therefore, be aged 18 years or over to purchase alcohol from this site and you must be able to supply proof of age on request.

MAKING A PURCHASE

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our online shop, click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “Checkout” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

WE ACCEPT CREDIT CARD PAYMENT

We accept online payment in a secure environment by credit card. We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, Delta and Switch. All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship.

RETURNS POLICY

Should you wish to return an item for a refund or exchange, please do so within 14 days. Unless faulty, goods must be returned in the original packaging and in a saleable condition.

When returning goods please remember to include a copy of your receipt. If this is not possible, make sure that you include your name, address and a telephone number inside the package and please do not forget to tell us if you want a replacement or a refund. We will only refund the delivery cost if we have despatched damaged or incorrect goods. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

You will be responsible for any returned goods until they reach us. Please make sure you get a proof of postage as in the event of a lost package you will be responsible for claiming from Royal Mail. The Royal Mail compensation is limited to £26 Sterling so if the value of goods you are returning is greater than this you may wish to consider using a recorded delivery service. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

GUARANTEE

We are confident that you will be delighted with your purchase. Should you not be satisfied for any reason, simply return your purchase to us for an exchange or refund of the purchase price. If we have made a mistake, we’ll also refund the delivery charges.

PHOTOGRAPHY:

Unless it is expressly prohibited, you are permitted to take photographs and recordings within the brewery and lands provided that these are solely for private use and are not sold or used for any commercial or public purpose.

By accepting these Entry Conditions, you acknowledge that Hook Norton Brewery Co Limited may on demand have access to photographs taken and video footage captured by you and request that certain photographs and/or footage are deleted if they are deemed to be offensive to or infringe the privacy of other guests and/or staff.

By accepting these Entry Conditions, you agree not to intentionally photograph and/or capture video footage of any individual without that person’s permission and you must adhere to all photography/ filming restrictions in place from time to time whilst within the Brewery.

From time to time Hook Norton Brewery Co Limited or other authorised parties carry out photography and/or video recording in the Brewery which may feature guests. Entry to the brewery is deemed acceptance of these Entry Conditions, and you therefore agree that Hook Norton Brewery Co Limited or any authorised party may use such images in perpetuity in any promotional, advertising or publicity material in any format whatsoever.

You further agree that copyright in these materials rests with Hook Norton Brewery Co Limited or such authorised party (as the case may be.)

INFLUENCERS:

USE OF DRONES:

We don’t allow unauthorised drone operation at any of the brewery land, properties or places in our ownership.

As a landowner, Hook Norton Brewery Co Ltd does not permit drone operation from any of our land and properties

The Brewery does regularly make use of drones for survey, inspection, filming and photography. Such work is commissioned in response to a specific need and undertaken for us by professional contractors.

We may also grant permission for drone-related commercial filming by established professional production companies in certain circumstances.

In general terms the production company must follow the same competency and insurance rules as those required for contractors. In addition, the filming must be commercial in nature and agreed with our head office.

The applications that we may consider include those that come from recognised production companies who are using drone footage as part of a wider production which will also include filming on the ground with actors and presenters.

Contractually the footage can only be used for the named project and further use including image libraries is prohibited.

Hook Norton does not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
