Hooky Gold at American SpeedFest 2026
Hook Norton Brewery made a dynamic appearance at American SpeedFest at Brands Hatch on 6th and 7th June, joining NASCAR Euro Series Rookie Challenge driver Dan Boys and the series’ ‘in-house’ racing team, Team FJ.
Now in its 13th year, American SpeedFest is a celebration of all things American, featuring high-octane NASCAR races, a full roster of support races, monster trucks, stunt shows, pro wrestling, classic car displays, and a country music festival. The transatlantic theme provided the perfect backdrop to continue Hooky Gold’s 20th anniversary celebrations.
Across the two days, approximately 42,000 visitors enjoyed the pre-race open pit lane and grid walk, offering fans the chance to collect driver autographs and see the thunderous NASCAR cars up close. Dan Boys engaged with attendees, handing out Hooky-themed driver cards and sharing stories from his racing experiences, alongside discussing the wide variety of beers available from Hook Norton Brewery. Even the essential marshals, the dedicated volunteer officials who ensure the smooth running and safety of the event, stopped by for a driver card and a Hooky Gold beer mat that gave details of the Free Hooky Gold promotion.
Whether it’s the thrill of taking the checkered flag or celebrating a personal milestone, big achievements deserve a legendary toast. Visitors and race fans alike are invited to bring their gold medals or official award certificates to the brewery, where Hook Norton will reward their hard work with a free, refreshing pint of Hooky Gold. Simply show your prize to the team at the Malthouse Kitchen bar to claim your zesty celebration. You’ve done the hard work; now it’s time to sit back and enjoy the golden taste of victory on the house!
As the on-track excitement reached its climax with winners crowned the ‘King or Queen of Brands Hatch’, attention shifted to the music stage. Each day concluded with memorable performances by British country stars Cammy Barnes and Harleymoon Kemp, capping off a weekend full of racing, music, and celebration.
