Hooky Mild Triumphs Again: Hook Norton Brewery Celebrates CAMRA Award Success

It was a night of double celebration at the brewery yesterday evening as we hosted our popular monthly Open Tap night and officially toasted to a prestigious new accolade for one of our best-loved heritage ales.

We are delighted to announce that Hooky Mild was named a finalist in the 2025 CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain Awards. To mark the achievement, Lynne Robbins, Chair of North Oxon CAMRA, joined us at the brewery to formally present the award to Hook Norton Managing Director, James Clarke.

The presentation took place amidst a fantastic atmosphere in a packed Malthouse Kitchen.

Reflecting on the win, James Clarke, Managing Director, said, “We are absolutely thrilled to receive this recognition from CAMRA. Our Hooky Mild is a beer that is very close to our hearts; it represents the history and traditional brewing values we strive to maintain here at Hook Norton.
