Nikka Whisky is a Japanese whisky distillery founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru. Nikka has two malt whisky distilleries, Yoichi on the island of Hokkaido and Miyagikyo in Sendai. The company also has a grain whisky distillery in Kanagawa. Nikka’s whiskies are known for their smooth and complex flavour profiles.
Nikka Barrel Whiskey is a blend of malt whiskies from both the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries. The whisky is aged in oak barrels for at least three years. Nikka Barrel Whiskey has a smooth and flavorful profile with notes of vanilla, honey, and spice. It is a versatile whisky that can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in a cocktail.
