Description

Bouche Pere & Fils Reserve NV champagne selected exclusively from Grand Cru vineyards, this superb 2005 Vintage Champagne offers exceptional quality. The wine is now fully mature and drinking magnificently. A very high quality small producer. Vintage Champagnes take on the fuller flavours of rich seafood, creamy sauces and wild mushrooms brilliantly.

Chablis Les Valery is a textbook Chablis from one of the area’s most successful producers. It has green-tinged hues, an elegant slightly steely quality with aromas and flavours of freshly baked brioche. Superb with shellfish, cracking with crab.

Tanners Red Burgundy is made by the talented Nicolas Potel this has a super nose of ripe damsons and black cherry, more of the same on the palate with a hint of spice and some fine tannins and freshness.

Don Jacobo Crianza Rioja Tinto is a traditional red rioja very much in Bodegas Corral‰’s style, matured for a minimum of 12 months in oak followed by at least a year in bottle before release. 90% Tempranillo grape with small additions of the traditional Garnacha and Mazuelo varieties. This fruity, smooth rioja is ideal with spicy chicken, grilled or roasted dark meats and rich vegetarian dishes.

Tanners Sauternes is full, rich and complex, it has honeyed flavours and good freshness to maintain balance. Sauternes is undoubtedly the best producer of dessert wines, it’s freak climate and geography combining to produce a sweet wine balanced by its famous orange peel.

Emile Berger Alsace Organic Riesling is one of Alsace’s most-famed grapes, this fresh and lively example shows lemon and grapefruit fruit aromas. Hand harvested from vineyards planted on limestone, the grapes are fermented with native yeasts and the wine is briefly aged on the fine lees.

This superb white Wine produced by Emile Beyer is crafted in Alsace. This wine has a cork closure and is crafted using organic practices and made to be suitable for vegan consumers. Light and refreshing, a mouth-watering partner for salads and seafood.

Amarone della Valpolicella is made in the tradtional Amarone method using dried grapes, the resultant wine is generous and complex. Jam, raisin and violet notes on the nose with hints of spice, balsam and echoes of forest floor. The palate is rich, warm and vigorous with a distinct and persistent finish of dried fruit and toasted almond. Amarone is an extraordinary Italian wine and much sought after by those who know about it.
