Tanners French Cite de Gascogne Rose 2018 is sourced from a family domaine in the Gers, this juicy, racy rosé has been a fantastic success since release. Vibrant summer fruits nose and a soft strawberry flavour mean one bottle isn’t enough!
Faugeres Les Jardins Domaine St Antonin Organic 2018 has liquorice and herb flavours with plenty of soft fruit and ripe tannins balanced with lovely freshness. Serve with grilled meats, vegetables, wild game or beef stew.
Las Pampas Malbec Mendoza 2019 is an Argentinean red with a pleasing, fruity nose and a charming supple character. Grown on the foothills of the Andes, there is plenty of freshness (thanks in part to the high slopes of the vineyards) and appetising black cherry flavours. A rich, full red with lovely damson and plum fruits, soft tannins with a subtle hint of underlying oak. Matched perfectly with braised beef.
Allumea Organic Grillo Chardonnay Sicilia is an elegant pale yellow colour, with a bouquet reminiscent of pineapple and lemon. The palate is fresh and crisp, with a great minerality and a long and lingering finish. Perfect on its own or to accompany white meats, fish or fresh pasta dishes.
Chateau du Seuil Organic Bordeaux Rose is the latest creation to come out of this innovative and popular chateau now under the direction of Bob Watts’ daughter and son-in-law, Nicola and Sean Allison. Made using only free-run juice from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc grapes and cool-fermented to retain all the fresh summer-fruit flavours and aromas.
Barbera d’Alba Tibaldi 2018 is a minty and herby nose leads to a soft and silky palate with lifted red fruits, full and easy. Harvested fairly late to make the most of the sweet fruit. From the North West of Italy and made from the local Barbera grape which thrives on the chalky limestone rich clay soil. A near neighbour of Barolo but without the steep price tag! Perfect with a chicken casserole.
