Supplying beers and cheers to Banbury United Football Club
The board of Banbury United are delighted to announce that multi award-winning Hook Norton Brewery has partnered with our Community-owned Football Club.
Explains Banbury United Commercial Team Liaison Warren Bartlett: “Hook Norton Brewery has teamed up with us not only as our supplier of their world-famous beers, but also in an exclusive deal which sees Hooky become the sponsor of our clubhouse The Spencer. This is an opportunity that we couldn’t turn down: Hooky fits in with everything we believe in at the Club; it’s a well-established family-run business, very popular within our community (as well as much further beyond). Hook Norton Brewery will help us to enhance the match day experience for all visitors to the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium, and we can’t wait to start working together.”
Warren added: “Special mentions must go to Mark Graham, Marketing Director of Hook Norton Brewery, for his support in sealing the deal, and to Darren Millward at JDP Solutions for their hard work in producing all of the artwork for Hooky around our stadium.”
Hook Norton Brewery Managing Director James Clarke said: “We’re delighted to be the official beer supplier of Banbury United FC. Being an independent family-owned business, choosing to support Banbury United – a fan-owned club – was an easy decision to make. We look forward to working with, and supporting, Banbury United on and off the pitch throughout the coming season.”
Welcoming this new partnership, Banbury United Club Chairman Ronnie Johnson congratulated his Commercial team on finalising the deal. “With this relationship, I can only see one way forward… and that is onwards and upwards. It is exciting times for the Puritans, as we embrace the challenges of our first season in the Vanarama National League North, and I am sure many pints of Hooky will be downed in the Spencer Clubhouse!” he enthused.
In addition to being the official beer supplier of the Club, Hook Norton Brewery will be supporting events at the ground, and offering prizes and competitions to help with fundraising for the Club.
