Hook Norton Brewery Helps Quench Thirst at Kingham Village Fete, Boosting Primary School Funds

Kingham Village Fete proved to be a resounding success last weekend, with Hook Norton Brewery playing a refreshing role in the fundraising efforts. The brewery proudly donated ten cases of beer free of charge, with all proceeds directly benefiting the local primary school.

Despite soaring temperatures that unfortunately led to the cancellation of the dog show and pony rides, attendees found a unique way to cool down thanks to the local fire brigade’s impromptu hosing down. Crucially for the fete’s fundraising, “people were thirsty!” according to organiser Tom Bell.

In an email following the event, Tom expressed his gratitude, stating, “Many thanks for Hook Norton Brewery’s support. We appreciate it!” He also shared photos from the day, highlighting the vibrant atmosphere.

The generous donation from Hook Norton Brewery directly contributed to the fete’s success, providing popular refreshment options while channelling vital funds towards Kingham Primary School.

The brewery is delighted to support local community initiatives and looks forward to continuing its commitment to the region.
