Hook Norton Brewery have released the second beer in their 173rd Anniversary Range – 173 Gold, celebrating another year of beer and brewing.  The brewery first started brewing anniversary ales in their 167th year and have released a new range each year, with the beers brewed increasing a percentage in strength each time.

As the name suggests, this is a golden ale, strong but subtle with notes of orange and grapefruit. The perfect beer to sip whilst enjoying a lazy sunny sunday afternoon.

173 Gold is available exclusively from the brewery shop and online.

To complete the range, the brewery will be releasing another two more over the next few months so look out for 173 Coffee Stout, and 173 Lager.
