A strong dark porter beer, with a malty palate and nutty overtones, that give way to a lyrical sweetness. A great beer for those long winter evenings. Has been described as Christmas in a bottle! Best enjoyed not too far from a roaring log fire!
Double Stout 4.8%
First brewed in 1898 this is a smooth and full-bodied stout with a refreshing hoppy aftertaste. A blend of dark malts gives it a character all of its own. Black malt enriches the colour and teases the palate, and brown malt gives it the dryness.
Mild 2.8%
A true to type, no nonsense, honest Mild. Dark chestnut and full of roasty toasty malt flavours complemented with superb dry-hop floral aromas of light spice and everything nice.
