An evening of captivating stories, culinary delights, and incredible generosity unfolded at Hook Norton Brewery on Saturday, August 9th, as Countryfile’s Adam Henson took the stage for the latest instalment of the “Tales from The Bar” series.

Henson, a consummate professional, held the room in raptures with a series of fascinating stories drawn from his career and life on the farm. The audience was enthralled by his anecdotes, making for a truly memorable and engaging night.

A Community United by Generosity

The delicious supper served on the night was made possible by the incredible generosity of local suppliers who donated ingredients free of charge. A huge thank you is due to Arthur David, AM Bailey, Hook Norton Butchers, and KFF for their contributions.

The spirit of giving continued beyond the event itself. A whopping donation of £700 was received from Mark Shergold, who raised the funds by selling last year’s pink bar staff t-shirts at the recent Fairport’s Cropredy Convention festival. This incredible gesture adds significantly to the total raised for the cause.

The brewery extends its heartfelt thanks to Adam Henson for his time and brilliant storytelling, to all the local suppliers for their support, and to every single person who attended, donated, and helped make the event a resounding success for NOXAIDUK.
