Hook Norton Brewery’s Managing Director James Clarke has brewed a very special beer to celebrate the life of his sister Victoria who sadly passed away aged 12.

Victoria would have celebrated her 50th birthday this year and to mark the occasion Jame and several of Victoria’s friends came together to brew.

The beer was served at The Pear Tree Inn at the bottom of brewery lane on a wonderful evening that saw friends and family enjoy an evening of fun, laughter and remembering whilst raising a glass or two to Victoria.

Managing Director, James Clarke said ‘In our 175th year, it was only right we should brew a special beer in Victoria’s memory. VMC is a 5.0% golden beer, sweet on the palate, but with an undeniable character – just like the person it is brewed for.’

The brewery will donate 50p from each pint sold to Blood Cancer UK.
