Hook Norton Brewery Donates £1,000 to Shipston-on-Stour First Responders
Hook Norton Brewery has donated £1,000 to Shipston-on-Stour First Responders in recognition of the vital assistance provided by one of its members in recovering a stolen company vehicle.
Josh, a member of Shipston-on-Stour First Responders, played an instrumental role in helping the brewery recover its vehicle that had been stolen from Moreton-In-Marsh after a social media campaign was launched to raise awareness of the theft.
The campaign helped spread the word locally, and later that day, the vehicle was spotted in Shipston-on-Stour and reported. Josh’s involvement proved instrumental in bringing the incident to a positive conclusion.
As a gesture of appreciation for his efforts and the support given, Hook Norton Brewery presented Shipston-on-Stour First Responders with a cheque for £1,000.
James Clarke, Managing Director of Hook Norton Brewery, said: “We are extremely grateful to Josh for his help in recovering our stolen vehicle. The social media campaign helped raise awareness of the theft, and it was encouraging to see the local community looking out for us. Having a vehicle stolen can have a significant impact on a business, causing disruption and additional costs, so the assistance we received was greatly appreciated.
“Making a donation of £1,000 to Shipston-on-Stour First Responders was the least we could do to say thank you and recognise the important work the team does in supporting the local community.”
The donation reflects the brewery’s appreciation for the efforts of local people who go above and beyond to help others, while recognising the valuable contribution made by Shipston-on-Stour First Responders to the community.
