Where better than a brewery to host your wedding? Nestled on the edge of the Cotswold Hills in the picturesque village of Hook Norton, Oxfordshire our stunning 5-storey Victorian Tower Brewery and Malthouse provides the perfect backdrop for your special day. Holding your wedding at the brewery will add a historic twist to your nuptials and certainly give you a venue and day to remember.

The Ceremony

We are licensed to hold Civil Ceremonies in The Steep featuring a host of original features including exposed beams, red brick walls, grey iron pillars and glass stained windows as well as our Brewery Boardroom and inside the brewery itself!

The Reception

Our 1864 Malthouse with exposed beams, wooden floors, arched windows and red brick walls flows over two floors offering a wide range of set up choices and comes very well equipped with quality catering and of course a fully stocked bar!

The Guest List

We can cater for 20 – 80 guests for a sit down wedding reception with capacity for a further 60 in the evening.

Staying Over

We have three pubs in Hook Norton, The Pear Tree, The Sun Inn and The Gate Hangs High, all with rooms. We are in striking distance of Chipping Norton where we have The Fox that offers 10 bedrooms.

Unique Added Extras

Anyone order a Shire Horse?
Our iconic Shire Horses can be at your disposal as a wedding car or unique backdrop for your wedding photos.
Brew your own beer!
A wedding without beer is not really what we do here at Hooky so if you wanted to brew your own special wedding ale to serve on the day or bottled and given as gifts we can help you.
Take a brewery tour
To keep your guests occupied while you have your photos taken, we can whisk them away for a guided tour of the brewery where they will experience the sights, sounds and smells of brewing here at Hook Norton.
