The Crown Inn at Benson, a characterful 17th century, Grade II-listed timber-framed coaching inn located in the pretty south Oxfordshire village of Benson. We welcome all to enjoy our bar, restaurant, six en-suite bedrooms, rear courtyard and large beer garden.
We endeavour to source our ingredients locally from quality suppliers who put as much care into their produce as our kitchen team put into creating your meal. Our meat comes from Calnan Brothers, a family butchers delivering high-quality meats for over 40 years. AM Bailey sources fresh fruit & vegetables from local Oxfordshire farms, and New Wave Seafood brings us responsibly sourced boat-fresh fish from the coast. Our menu is ever-changing as we only accept the best produce.
Our kitchen showcases and celebrates each dish with the emphasis on using quality, locally sourced produce treated with respect and care. The A La Carte menu of enticing dishes full of flavour and style is complemented by daily signature dishes and will change in line with the seasons and availability of the finest ingredients.
In our comfortable and cosy bar, a range of the best cask ales, lagers and cider are available alongside a gin and small cocktail menu and a varied wine list.

Upstairs, we have six individually-decorated double en-suite bedrooms, furnished with luxurious touches including roll top baths and powerful rain showers.
Outside, the rear courtyard, edged by the original Grade II listed stabling, blacksmith’s and wheelwrights’ workshops offers a perfect sun trap in which to relax and through the archway an enclosed beer garden awaits.
