It is located in the picturesque, untouched village of Thorpe Mandeville, just six miles North-East of the town of Banbury, made famous by the nursery rhyme.
The Three Conies has a wonderful atmosphere in the beamed bar with wooden burning stove, a separate restaurant with vaulted ceiling, a lovely patio to enjoy in the summer sunshine, beautiful scenery from the large garden, a choice of real ales and ample car parking.
Highly Commended Community Pub of the Year in the 2018 Hooky Awards.
Marketing & Customer Service Pub of the Year winner in the 2018 Hooky Awards.
The small village has existed for many centuries; as has the Three Conies. Thorpe Mandeville is located on the important livestock drovers’ road known as Banbury Lane and the pub dates from the 17th century, when it was a drovers’ inn providing overnight accommodation for the drovers and their stock who travelled this way.
