Features: We are located in the centre of Hook Norton, serving up fresh, local food as well as a range of handcrafted real ales, brewed just minutes away from us. We also offer Accommodation and have a large Beer Garden for you to enjoy those sunny summer days.
We have a fantastic range of award winning beers supplied by Hook Norton Brewery delivered by the Drayman and the Brewery Shire horses every Wednesday in a truly traditional style!
There is also an extensive wine list available with something sure to suit everybody’s palate. Please be aware that all our food is freshly prepared on site so if you have any dietary requirements let us know when you’re booking and we will do our best to cater for you.
OCCASIONS
In addition to the pub and bedrooms we also have a private room available for hire.The function room boasts a private bar and direct access on to the patio. It can hold a maximum of 64 people seated on round tables or up to 100 people for a standing buffet. In addition to this it also has a built in skittle alley for a fun function with a difference! We can cater for a huge range of functions from board meetings to weddings.

DIRECTIONS TO THE SUN INN
Reaching The Sun Inn from the M40:
Leave the M40 at junction 11 and follow the signs for Banbury – follow the signs for A361 out of Banbury – continue through Bloxham on A361 turning right at the mini-roundabout – after leaving Bloxham take the turning on the right signposted Milcombe – In Milcombe follow the brown tourist signs to the brewery, turning right at the Horse & Groom – turn left at the Fir Trees Garage crossroads follow the road down to the T junction. At the junction turn left on to the high street and The Sun Inn is on the right hand side of the High Street opposite the church.
Reaching The Sun Inn from Oxford and Chipping Norton:
From Oxford follow the A44 towards Chipping Norton – continue towards the roundabout where the A3400 meets the A36 – turn right at the roundabout signposted A361, Banbury – take the first turning on the left, signposted Hook Norton – follow signs for Hook Norton (this will include a turning to the right). The Sun Inn is on the left hand side of the High Street opposite the church.
Reaching The Sun Inn by bus:
Stagecoach operate the 488 service between Banbury and Chipping Norton via Hook Norton, Monday to Saturday. The bus stops outside the The Sun Inn. You can find the timetable on the Stagecoach website.
