HOOK NORTON BREWERY BEST COMMUNITY PUB AWARD WINNER 2025

Some years ago the pub was extended to include the next-door premises and offers many small areas. Shipston on Stour is a delightful local market town with many small shops to browse.

It is very much a community pub with lots of games and team spirit! There are two  Aunt Sally team, a crib team, two dominoes teams, five men’s darts teams, a pool table, so, if it’s pub games you’re looking for, this is the place to be!

For watching sports, The Coach & Horses is just as impressive, with 5 screens including a whopping 75″ display, and can show different matches through the pub, so if your team is on the telly, (TNT, Sky Sports and Amazon) it’ll be shown at the Coach.

With a great jukebox, music events throughout the year and a suntrap garden ideal for summer pints regularly updated, this pub is definitely worth a visit.
