RED LION, STEEPLE ASTON
Proprietor: Craig Schindler & Victoria Sykes
Features: An inviting Oxfordshire village pub with a cosy bar, warmed by a wood burning stove. Our food is generous and unfussy and can be paired with local beers brewed just 12 miles away.
A warm welcome awaits you in this traditional English country pub and restaurant situated in the Cherwell Valley. The bar is intimate and cosy with a real fire in winter and a pretty terrace for drinking in the warmer weather.
The menu boasts many pub classics which are all prepared in-house, complemented by the specials board. The restaurant is ideal for family get-togethers and celebrations as well as quiet, candlelit dinners for two. There are three real ales always available and a choice of around ten quality wines by the glass.
Cyclists, ramblers (there are many fantastic walks in the area) and dogs are all welcome at this most agreeable hostelry.
